uncle W
This month was supposed to be ****ty. No surprise this looks like this. I thought it would break the record from the start..I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel yet...All I have to go on is analogs and they show a mild pattern if the ao/nao is positive...this is like 2006-07 only worse...I hope February and March are like 2007...I doubt it gets as cold in February as 2007...it only needs to be cold enough... MJO812
was it supposed to be +12? No but this month was supposed to suck. Next month is when the pattern is supposed to get better and it still looks to be on track for that. You and other people can say no but I will still continue to think so. If the December mean temperature is 47.7°, it would be such an event relative to the 1981-2010 baseline (2.327 sigma above the average December temperature).
