Just surpassed 65 here in NW Chesco with a good amount of sunshine so I'm sure to go higher.

Heard sounds in the yard like raindrops.   Upon closer look, I have a swarm of bees raiding the bird feeder and dropping

seeds on the ground.    Never seen that before.    I suppose there isn't anything for the bees to eat so they go after

bird seed and suet.

Merry Christmas to all!

For those that like cold and snow - it is certainly looking better for J-F-M. Still hard to believe we can get to normal for the season but if any year has the look it might indeed be this one. Some interesting times ahead - need to keep an eye on some ice potential still for early AM Tuesday.

Only 1 degree away right now (66.3) from the warmest Christmas Day in Chester County history (since 1894) - record for today is 67 set back in the year of the Beatles - 1964!

It was probably asking too much to go from the most hideous winter wx pattern in Earth's history to frozen precip just a few days later. Still, it was nice to see the models hint at it -- it's a step in the right direction!

Hope everyone is keeping cool this Christmas Day ... stay in the shade and drink plenty of fluids.
