michsnowfreak
Bitterly cold winter weekend here. Each of the last two Valentines weekends we were buried in over a foot of snow (well over a foot in 2014), but there was some snow on the ground this weekend. michsnowfreak
Nice pics. I notice cross country skiing is so popular. I should get into it. Meanwhile...the gray of winter continues here.

osubrett2
Picture at night doesn't do it justice, but nearly 24 hours after the snow plastered the trees, it all remains. This is from out back from my place while walking my pup.

snowstormcanuck
A few pics from the event today, every tree is crusted in snow as it was a very low ratio event. Nice Pics. Out here on the periphery of the storm the snow was powdery (probably your standard 14:1 stuff). It was only after the snow stopped and there was some dim sunshine that everything started to ripen. IWXwx
Dang. I've never seen a snow squall come in off of the lake. Looks like a summer storm with that shelf cloud.

michsnowfreak
In Traverse City. Way less snow in the city itself than surrounding areas. You see grass spots in the city (and huge dirty piles) but still plenty of snow in residential areas and even more in the country outside of town

michsnowfreak
Its been a snowy start to March. However with warm weather looming, these potentially could be the last wintry scenes of the 2015-16 season.
