Stebo
00z NAM ticked SE again. 0.50"+ of QPF, solidly all snow for Detroit (925mb 0*C line stays SE of Toledo and Lake St. Clair). The only model now with the weird dry slot is the 4km NAM, I think I can safely say it is going to bust on that.
kevlon62
Roads went to hell and a handbasket quickly. These just east of Woodstock. Two separate cars off within a few hundred feet. Power line down and arcing pink galore in the midst of the poundage. Heavy snow. Gotta be a few down. RFD obs sound legit to me.

IWXwx
Congrats to all of our Iowa, Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin posters, with Southern Michigan getting theirs later. Enjoy a highly unusual November storm and keep the pics coming. It's going to be a nice spread the wealth system for the subforum. Meanwhile, all of us Ohio, and Central and Southern Indiana and Illinois posters will wave as the storm passes to our north.

Chinook
Looking good, Southern MI needs to be upgraded You're right. The 4km NAM has 10-14" for Oakland County MI, and 10-12" for other spots. I wonder if several spots will make it up to 10" in Oakland County and up to 8" in some other areas on I-94. Maybe DTX and GRR just don't want to get burned. Powerball
The only model now with the weird dry slot is the 4km NAM, I think I can safely say it is going to bust on that. Hmmm, not seeing it any longer on the 00z 4km NAM. And it's also colder / all snow for us.
