On the 22z HRRR, south side is all snow, whereas the north side and even up by Waukegan gets tainted by rain.

PMS model can't make up its mind.

No way the South Side stays all snow.  The temperature still over 40 degrees here, while  O'hare is already down to 38.  Definitely going to have some mixing issues tonight, even if the precipitation falls predominantly as snow.

38 on the bank clock here lakeside as well, we don't warm until winds flip onshore later, they're still light and out of the northwest

Started snowing here about noon. Been ripping down for the last three hours. Pretty close to 5 inches. This would be impressive in January, much less November. Roads are pretty awful to say the least. Good luck to all!

 

Good to see the snow wins the melting battle....

 

Such a steep drop off wrt accumulations from Detroit to Windsor.... Hope the SW trend holds another 10 miles.
