purduewx80
Scott - there's nothing on the ground at the office in the Loop. I'm in Logan Square (3 miles inland) and the 3" we had in the fronto band yesterday evening is a slushy half inch on grass now. Currently raining. My flight was canceled as I was on the train to ORD - huge gradient in accums across the city.

hawkeye_wx
Have a disappointing 6.2" estimate here, with the uncleared snow board and most of the yard under 5.5". The heavier snow band ended up in northern Iowa and not central like some models (Euro) predicted, although the surface low seems to have tracked plenty far south for us. daddylonglegs
just enough to cover the grass somewhat....nothing stuck to the roads here.
tuanis
Huge fluffballs coming down again: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/libertyville-snow Interestingly, everything that had accumulated on my driveway last night has turned to mush and melted and the stuff that fell on grassy surfaces has compacted big time. Warm ground temps certainly have played SOME role.

Very strange. Temp currently 34.
sokolow
A hideous pissy, freezing drizzle mixed with intermittent flakes near Sox; patches of snow clinging to life on the grass and on cars.

LansingWeather
I think GRR needs a WSW for Ingham, Jackson, Calhoun and maybe Clinton. Latest modelsshow the core of the snow inthat general area. Maybe Eaton too for the south east half
dmc76
DTX up the totals to 6 to 10" not surprising considering the fast start here. Should be no problem getting those totals.
