homedis
I really wouldn't be surprised to see localized amounts well over a foot in northeast IL (18"?), especially wherever the lake enhancement is greatest. Would that possibly happen near me? Or further north?
ILSNOW
That band in northeast IL seems to have ticked up in intensity in the last few scans. you are 100% correct the intensity in buffalo grove during last 15 minutes has really ramped up and it was snowing heavy before that. Indystorm
Congrats to all of our Iowa, Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin posters, with Southern Michigan getting theirs later. Enjoy a highly unusual November storm and keep the pics coming. It's going to be a nice spread the wealth system for the subforum. Meanwhile, all of us Ohio, and Central and Southern Indiana and Illinois posters will wave as the storm passes to our north. I agree fully with this and am happy for our posters north of us. Our time will come.
