mackerel_sky
I know this DEC has been awful...I get it, but the pattern is maturing nicely IMHO. The Pac NW will stop getting rich with snow and rain at some point once the pattern gets where its going. However, this should prove that NINO or NINA doesn't dominate the pattern all the time like some people believe.Y'all know those years when we have a Great Wall to wall cold and snowy pattern like 09/10!?Even during those awesome winters, the pattern breaks down or reloads for a week or two and then Seattle and Portland get snow!? Maybe during their one to two week pattern relaxation , we can score our one slop fest , before the trough locks back onto the west coast!?
