cyclone77
Early next week is looking very nice for much of the MW. Much of Iowa and northern IL should have temps pushing 70, with dews well into the 50s. Gonna feel very springlike.

Much of Iowa and northern IL should have temps pushing 70, with dews well into the 50s. Gonna feel very springlike. Should be a nice few days. Gentle reminder that severe season is approaching fast. (Also, lawn mowing season). Since the winter **** the bed, give me a solid MCS season

Stebo
I'm hoping for a dry spring.A dry spring would be bad especially since we had a relatively dry winter, you don't want to walk into summer with back to back dry seasons.
Hoosier
A dry spring would be bad especially since we had a relatively dry winter, you don't want to walk into summer with back to back dry seasons. Winter wasn't that dry...DTW is almost at average precip for DJF.
Stebo
Winter wasn't that dry...DTW is almost at average precip for DJF. That is a bit misleading, December was most of it with 3.01" but 2.11" of that came on 3 days. When you actually look at the numbers it has been more dry than not. BuffaloWeather
Morch 2012 all over again? I got a taste of spring the other day with sun and 61 and now I'm hooked. I hope we skip Spring and go right to my favorite season!
Torchageddon
Morch 2012 all over again? I got a taste of spring the other day with sun and 61 and now I'm hooked. I hope we skip Spring and go right to my favorite season! *Image* The image that warms my heart. The warmest anoms are over me if the top and bottom of the 5ºF shade meet in the middle, its about time. I would be more excited if it was in ºC though. While I am March 2012's biggest fan, that and others show nothing like it let alone the pre-existing conditions that helped bring it on and you would need a scale in ºF to go past 15 (the girth of the 5ºF shade would be huge). UMB WX
epic early and long dog paw mud season. Put the snow machines to sleep until next season for most next monday. hawkeye_wx
I'm not sure we'll see anything too extreme early next week because the models are suggesting a fair amount of cloudiness and showers streaming up from the south, but moist 50s and 60s will feel very good. I love the first mild and humid weather of the season.
