Chitown Storm
Op Euro back to a cutter with the GHD storm. Bombs it out pretty good and absolutely dumps on MSP with well over a foot. Model porn run of the season for MSP so far. Ugh, what a porn tease. You know what they say about being in the jackpot zone too far in advance. Quite the December looking track though. Can't remember the last time the Euro showed a mid 980s low in an MSP sweet spot.

BuffaloWeather
Correct. Haven't had a 6"+ storm (setting aside the Jan 2011 LES event) since 2004. Toronto had 10-14" a few years ago in a deform band that set-up and slammed southern Ontario for the entire morning? I remember because it was supposed to hit us but set-up farther north than modeled.

At hr 240 the low is positioned over northern Wisconsin.

HillsdaleMIWeather
18Z GFS says hold on to your butts, shows a defo zone over northern Indiana and extreme Southern MI for 6 hours. Thundersnow12
The signal has been there for the last 7-10 days and will continue to be there. No point in sweating op runs yet. As said, many options on the table but does look like a significant system between Feb 1st-3rd.

Geos
GFS is just flip flopping back and forth. Can't decide where it wants to put the high in Canada.

Right...exactly....I hope everyone gets a little of something they want...but that's usually difficult across our full sub. Jrad08
I think I want this consistently to stay north of us Ohio guys. I know this last storm ripped out some hearts and I don't know if some of the guys down here could take another storm flirting with us only to leave us with blue balls! dan123
Not expecting anything of real significance with that GHD III storm in mby. Pretty good consensus right now of the low going west of here and just too much ridging out in front of the system. I won't bother wasting my time tracking this.Winter 15-16 goes on......
