Indystorm
What has also surprised me is the fairly large number of wedges we have apparently had so far with this episode.

andyhb
What has also surprised me is the fairly large number of wedges we have apparently had so far with this episode. Very low LCL heights + very strong shear + large amount of CAPE concentrated in the lowest 3 km = large, significant tornadoes.

rolltide_130
Western cell is about to get overrun by the MCS. Eastern cell still has a little bit of time before it gets overrun so it'll likely become dominant here shortly.

1900hurricane
The cell now crossing into Oklahoma still has a very wrapped-up appearance on radar, despite its distance from any radar site.

Jim Marusak
The cell now crossing into Oklahoma still has a very wrapped-up appearance on radar, despite its distance from any radar site. looking at that cell from the VNX radar, and yea, too bad it's too far out to get a good look into the vortex itself. because that tilt-1 velocities are reading at 10kft. but that being said, 90 knots at 10kft is pretty impressive on the most current frame. the one before that I assume had some other remnants going on, as that had 160kt of shear (85 inbound 75 outbound). Chicago Storm
I knew today had to potential to be decent, but it no doubt exceeded expectations. Some awesome pics and videos from chasers. I originally had said elsewhere if it wasn't a one day event and so far west I would have chased, but given how things have turned out, it's probably the only day I regret not chasing this year now. andyhb
Reports of debris falling from the sky ahead of that cell moving into KS. Had a wicked BWER a bit earlier. For the record, this is the merger of the two Pampa cells earlier, so this has been exceptionally long lived.
