I'm not even going to worry about next week's storm until the end of the weekend.  Way too much uncertainty with cold, multiple systems, etc.  Looks like a warm tongue is at least possible, though, and I do not enjoy those kinds of storms, but I guess we're overdue for one.

At least there may be something of some significance to track.

picked up an inch tonight in 2 bands. About 2 inches of fluffy stuff for the day.

I always thought it was neat to be in and out of some of these bands at night. One minute you see clear skies and stars and five minutes later visibility goes way down.

Interesting to see what is happening to our Monday storm. Hope we don't get missed but also don't want to get the warm tongue. I'll take our chances. We are due. I would take 8 inches changing to drizzle.

I think it's time we cash in. We've been paying our dues for too long. 6+ really isn't that much to ask. Per Climo we avg two of those per year I believe. On another note, nws is trying to redeem itself. Calling for 1-3 overnight now.

We are due for a 6-12 type storm. We haven't had a true thump since 2010.
