harrisale
12 knots is the highest wind we've gotten here in Toronto, haha.. Lol. The cold front hasn't even passed yet for Toronto (although it probably has at the time I'm posting ). Gusting 60-70km/h here in Guelph and peak winds won't be until after the work day is over. Ajdos
DTW and DET have gusted to 45-50mph. Highest gust IMBY is 42mph. 45-50 is still not warning criteria, don't think anyone reached WC. #lame

geddyweather
Been a constant roar today. Sustained around 20 and a couple 40-45mph gusts, but nothing really in the advertised warning criteria. Several of the leaf piles made by my neighbors were kicked up and swirled into a small 'leaf devil' about 10 feet high, which was kinda neat. Also fairly certain I saw a for sale sign get picked up and thrown onto the roof of a nearby house during the strongest gust this morning. Not a bad day overall. Powerball
It's not like these are associated with severe t'storms (haven't seen a t'storm since September IMBY, and probably won't see another one until April 2016), so I really don't care if today's winds busted. It was still a crap day.
nwohweather
56 was hit at Metcalf field. The open spaces of NW Ohio definitely lived up to the hype. Also traveling downwind today my truck got 20 mpg, up 5 miles
