Looks like a lull then more showers this afternoon with the shortwave swinging through, although it looks like the heaviest rain with that should be up in PA.. Hanover County Airport (NW of RIC) reported 2.85 inches for the event, with 2.20 inches in the 6-hour period between 18:54 and 00:54. The picture is from Friday, before the storm. Gfs and Nam both show mid 40's for highs in the far burbs along with wind gusts in the 30+ range. Perfect, I love being on the roof hanging Christmas lights in gusty winds. Looks warm, GGEM has been upper 70s/lower 80s with see's in the mid 60s 2 runs in a row, other models are Upper 60s to Lower 70s.
