Trust me it's worth it especially if you have a big driveway and pay an arm and a leg to have someone else plow it. My dad got one right after 2009-10, used it once in January 2011, and then I don't think we used it again until 2013-14. It still paid off fast. My motivation is to save my increasingly-problematic back. Don't have a big driveway, but do also have about 150' of sidewalk also to clear. I've always shoveled, but don't think I can anymore. No, I installed a new black metal box a couple of years ago and decided, this time, to try and maintain it.
