Ian
I love it when the low is the average high. What season are we in again? Impressive on a larger scale but locally this hasn't truly been anything to write home about so far. If we hit 80 on Friday we can talk.

If we hit 80 on Friday we can talk. Will possibly hit 80 tommorow. I'm going 75-78'ish range outside the river and bay wind.
AvantHiatus
Record high of 76 on January 14, 1932. Some of these may need quality control. KDCA not very far from a Northern Florida climate during its warmest years. http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KDCA/2016/1/14/DailyHistory.html?req_city=Arlington&req_state=DC&req_statename=&reqdb.zip=22222&reqdb.magic=4&reqdb.wmo=99999

MN Transplant
NAM does not want to get us as warm on Friday as the GFS does. And I wonder how tough it will be to break out of the foggy start today.

H2O
1/19/94 the only day in my lifetime that the temp never rose above zero. High was -1, low -12. 93-94 was my first winter in Westminster. I was so glad when that winter was over. A couple of times I questioned whether I should have moved out of Baltimore I was stressed out by early February with all of the ice never melting. That day is forever etched into my memory. 9am and temp was still 0F and only got to 6F for the high IIRC. Was working outdoors and that whole week was insane from a work perspective. The amount of cement that was on the ground from the sleet storm and clipper was epic.
midatlanticweather
It is 57 balmy degrees outside!
RDM
58/58dp with about 1/8mi visibility (if that) and a load of leaves blanketing the yard again. Just mulched the entire yard late yesterday afternoon with my Kubota and you can hardly tell already. That said, the trees are just about bare... mdhokie
Where did this rain come from. Last I checked it was supposed to be sunny all week. Supposed to be raising roof trusses today but probably not now because of the rain. Blah.

North Balti Zen
Anybody else got there " Star Wars" tickets . Looks like they got it right with this movie...looks old school. Episode 1-3 were ok but this one looks epic from the trailers. I remember parents taking us to security square mall in Baltimore to see Return of the Jedi and the line was wrapped around the whole mall . We waited 4 hours to get in but worth it. Yes. Going with the family (daughter home from college) on the Saturday of opening weekend. Also, for obs...foggy.

WinterWxLuvr
I love it when the low is the average high. What season are we in again? Fall, and since the avg highs and lows differ by about 20 degrees, this ain't that impressive.

AvantHiatus
Fall, and since the avg highs and lows differ by about 20 degrees, this ain't that impressive. No but it will be in December. Things are clearly not right when your coldest high in at least 2 months will be on October 19th. (locally). The 82/83 record for that is going to fall by the wayside. GEFS/EPS combo is tough to break.

I had enough of running my AC since the beginning of May, definitely not thrilled running it in November now too. 79F. lol I knew that was coming. I agree.. I rather have it 50 degrees and cloudy. NinjaWarrior2
Weird kind of day, it was misty with like 3-6 mile visibility most of the late morning and the afternoon, then around 1:30/2:00pm the fog started to burn off and the sun came out and it felt humid/sweaty out. But by 3:30pm it was back to overcast with an interesting cloud look, but good visibility. Now fog is reforming, made it to 67.
