midatlanticweather
Reading 67 outside! I think in day my temp gauge is 2 degrees high, but even 65 is crazy. So pretty out. Gonna try to get another 10k of lights up while it is so warm!
mattie g
Power washed the last side of the house. 68 and bright sunshine is the perfect day for it...and the siding really needed it! That side faces NNW and has trees to the west, so it gets virtually no sun at all, making for perfect conditions for mold. Thought I could get by until spring, but no such luck. Glad to be done with it!

CAPE
Drove thru Frederick and it was 70 . Got home and only 63 here. Yesterdays high 49 low 29. Wow 70. Seems to have maxed out at 61 here. Feels really comfortable in the sun but chilly in the shade.

Bob Chill
Should be a mildly interesting rain event thurs morning. Models mostly locked in on 1"+ in a relatively short window. Euro has 30-40mph gusts with the rain. I would think strong S-SE 850mb flow should be able to mix down pretty easily with heavy rain.

RDM
What a bust... only .04" since midnight? See a little development on the radar that may give a smidgen more, but hardly the 3/4 - 1" they were forecasting. Sure hope this is not an omen of things to come.... high risk
This morning busted for sure, but the NAM nest and HRRR both show a lot of redevelopment over the next few hours, although they admittedly soak the east side of DC better than the west side. Yea - see the radar trying to fill in. It appears to be rather disorganized at best and perhaps lacking the lift necessary to pull together anything worthwhile, especially west of DC. Interesting how fast this fell apart given the intensity of the line last night. Yet this AM NC is getting soaked - where they least need it after last month's flooding.
