JerseyWx
I'll call it 1.75" for a total, not bad at all. Glad we got some of the well needed rain, and tomorrow looks like a classic November day with lots of sun and some crisp temperatures. Starting to clear up already out there. 59° currently. Morris
If the 57 minimum in NYC holds through midnight, then we'll tie the record highest minimum. 11/19 57 in 1906 55 in 2003 54in 2004+ Tied.
SnoSki14
I'll be surprised if NYC doesn't take the top spot for warmest November. The coming cool shot is brief and doesn't look to offer more than a slightly negative departure. We'll also finish the last few days on some strong positives to hopefully lock the month up. SnoSki14
The 06z gfs op would lock in a record warm November. It rele backs down on the cool air and drives in a few days of +10-15 departures 27-29. In fact one of those days could easily be +20 before the front comes through. Also shows a putrid early winter pattern with pacific air ruling the CONUS. But again that was to be expected so nothing out of the ordinary although I didn't think November would be this warm. bluewave
NYC is currently at +6.6 for November. To tie the record warmest November set in 2001 NYC needs to finish at +5.0. A +5.0 departure is also necessary to tie the warmest fall (SON) on record set in 1931.
Allsnow
It shouldn't be a surprise but the models now start out December very mild...pretty ugly look on the EPS...2006 2011 where some of the examples orhwxman gave in the sne thread ugh
