Palatable is an adjective that means acceptable to the taste or mind. Something that is palatable is acceptable to one's sense of taste—literally or figuratively

 

Palpable

adjective
able to be touched or felt.  (especially of a feeling or atmosphere) so intense as to be almost touched or felt.
 
The word you want to use in that situation of "PF's panic is _______"......is palpable.

Several ponds near me had ice. A friend of ours posted a pic of their son skating on a shallow pond in their back woods

I remember those days lol, find us some skim ice and we hit it. Glad you got to ski today, thankfully it wasnt a wall to wall torch Novie so ski areas were able to provide cover. Seen worse

Lol. Didn't ski. Just picked up the passes and walked around the base area to check things out. They don't open until Friday

Looks pretty sparse
