hes panic stricken over a 9 day forecast that will change , and who cares. A warm turkey day is great for the family time, get the kids outside . Who wants everyone huddled inside. if there was snow on the ground different story, but things are progressing according to plan. Silly to talk about really. I mean the 11-15 is silly cold but cmon, GFS really? Scooter trolling Kevin is always  something

If Im not mistaken, the GFS and other modeling a week ago today, had very warm temps forecast for today and the rest of this week.  How did that turn out?  I agree with you that it will change for sure.  Good post.

That's only a 12 hour max between 00z and 12z...need to do one between 12z and 00z.

That said, it is still not very warm at the sfc on that verbatim...prob still in the upper 40s...T-day might be more like low to mid 40s.

the odd -pna / se ridge nina-esque look is screwing with what would be a really nice dump from the epo.

I hope we keep this look for December, lol...I think we'd end up pretty good. Maybe ease the SW trough just a tad...but it would remind me of some of those setups in Dec 2007 and Dec 2008.

Thats as far as the Euro goes but Turkey day here ya go, based on cloud cover probably a 3-5 degree rise after that on friday, its not a torch setup at all. Mets know this

it's also total bootleg "cold". stagnant garbage from that E Canada high. surface temps may not be all that high...but it's a torch set-up overall.
