Powerball
Quite frankly, today felt and looked more like a mid-late January day than a mid-late November day...
Gilbertfly
said the same thing to myself powerball....complete with crusty black snow on the side of the road melting under the sun with still a hint of crispness in the air
Chinook
Nov 2015 and Nov 2014 have been almost exactly opposite in the arrangement of US temperature anomalies. This is something like a +18F swing in temp anomalies for Minnesota in 1 year.
dmc76
0.7" today. 13.9" for the season. Nice start to the year.
hawkeye_wx
Down to only an inch of snowcover here. A mild Thanksgiving soaker will take care of anything that's left.

Geos
Had some melting today. Probably around 7 or 8" snow depth right now. Made it to 37° this afternoon and have since settled back into the 20s.
cyclone77
Still 4-5" on the ground here. The warmer temps and 1-2" of rain later this week will take care of the remaining snow cover though.
Chicago Storm
Some nice hoar frost this morning. Snow will no doubt be gone before the weekend. It has been melting nicely from the bottom up the past few days.
cyclone77
Lots of dripping out there today with temps pushing 40 under full sun. We stay above freezing all night tonight, and then push 50 tomorrow, so the snow should really take a hit next 36hrs.
Geos
Pushing 40° here too. Clouds are increasing out there also. Once the snow melts I'm going to have a thousand and one sticks to pick up in the yard!
Snowstorms
Had a dusting of snow earlier this morning to feed the appetite of another season underway. Looks to be the only snow for the rest of the month, however. Will end up below normal at YYZ. Got down to 19.8F the other night. Coldest of the season so far. stormtrackertf
Deep winter feel the past few days. The thaw has been slow, only today has the grass started to show again in my yard.
Hoosier
Interestingly, precip this month has sort of resembled the DJF composite for strong Ninos. The dry anomalies should shrink in coming days though, especially the IN/MI area. DJF for strong Ninos

Chambana
This fall is already a guanrateed lock for the warmest met fall for strong ninos, not surprising given the small sample size. Straight torching right now at 57 degrees. No holiday spirit for this guy, when it's so warm out.
hawkeye_wx
40s overnight and low 50s today easily took care of what snow we had left. The Euro has mid to upper 50s over eastern Iowa by midday Thursday when the front moves through.
Geos
Here's November for strong Ninos novstrongninos.png That's definitely not the case around here! Already over 3" for the month and looking to get close to 4" by Friday. Was nice and sunny this morning, but now heavy overcast dominates the sky. Still about 3-4" of dense snow left. cyclone77
48 today, and that was enough to eat most of the snow. Just some scattered patches left, along with piles. Even though there won't be much of anything left, there should still be a little snow left tomorrow. That will make 2 years in a row with some degree of snow on the ground here. That has to be a very rare thing. EDIT: Last year we had a green/brown Christmas, and maybe we'll have another this year. That would be a pretty rare combo if that happens. michsnowfreak
Snow basically gone here. DTW hit 54F Nice 4 day winter wonderland though
Powerball
There's still a reasonable shot that November 2015 ends up being a top 10 warmest for Detroit (top 20 warmest November 2015 is a lock), even with the past few days being below normal. And that's really impressive considering that we also saw a top 5 largest snowstorm as well for the month.
Chambana
57 degrees already with winds straight from the south at 20-30MPH. Forecasted to reach 62 degrees, gonna be a warm turkey day! Happy thanksgiving everyone!
