Sounds like central IL to MI has been the hot spots for mid 70s. Squeaked out a 70° reading for a high today at 1 pm. Pretty cloudy down and more humid feeling.

Would have been 4 70s in a row if it weren't for the lake breeze on Tuesday.

Had some drizzle earlier, but so far the rains have avoided us.  Thin line in eastern Iowa looks a little less impressive as well.  Not expecting too much with it.

Still 64/61 with a stiff south breeze.  Ended up hitting 72 earlier.  3 out of the first 5 days in November were AOA 70.  Impressive.

ORD had a low temp of 59 on Thursday, which broke the record high min temp for the date of 54 (1956).

At first glance, I would have thought this daily min temp was one of the warmest on record for so late in the season...but as it turns out, there have been several days with warmer min temps, even into late November.

I guess a strong southerly wind and/or cloud cover can really keep min temps up...even as the normal low is around freezing this time of year.

Some of the warmer and/or most impressive daily mins for Chicago include:

- 63 on 11/7/1975

- 63 on 11/6/1924

- 62 on 11/23/1931

- 62 on 11/21/1913

- 62 on 11/20/1913

- 62 on 11/12/1902

- 62 on 11/11/1882

- 61 on 11/19/1934

- 57 on 11/29/1998...normal low is around 25 on this date
