FlatLander48
Question. How is part of the lower apps down towards Asheville going to be getting more snow as is being forecasted on many models compared to places like ashe and watauga? From what I'm hearing there is a higher risk of sleet mixing in further south but yet the totals are still higher than northern counties. I'm sorta confused looking at that. Cheeznado
What part of the Asheville area are you going to stay in? East side near the tunnel. EDIT: I will be in the beer district this evening, maybe we could have a weenie meetup? Probably will eat at Wicked Weed....

wncsnow
Contest.. Which mountain top location will receive the most snow? Options- Mt. Mitchell, Grandfather Mtn, Mt. Pisgah, Roan Mtn. Beech Mtn. I will say Mt. Mitchell from the storm, but Beech and Roan will rake up with NW flow

Mt Mitchell also delivers the huge amounts with this type of flow, what totals do you think each mtn top will receive? My thoughts- Mitchell- 29 (24 from storm, 5 from NWF) Grandfather- 22 (18 from storm- 4 from NWF Beech- 24 (18 from storm, 6 from NWF) Roan- 21 (15 from storm, 6 from NWF) Pisgah- 26 ( 22 from storm, 4 from NWF)
