tdp146
most plants look worn out and depressing except for the tropicals like lantana. bring on a frostMy tomato plants are still producing. Of course I'm out there at the end of everyday taking care of them. Hope I avoid the freeze. I'm pretty optimistic I'll be ok here. Would like to keep it going at least through Halloween. The bottom can drop out after thanksgiving as far as I'm concerned.

nzucker
Not sure if they should have taken away the freeze warnings tonight for Southern Westchester/Southern Rockland. Skies are clear, 850s are still dropping, and winds are brisk out of the northwest (HPN NW 14 G 24). Most of us are sitting around 39-40F with about 9-10 hours of cooling left. Don't see how we only get to 34-35F as the forecast suggests. I'm thinking lows are going to be in the 30-32F range for our areas, cooler than the OKX forecast.
