lakeeffectkid383
Buffalo and the northtowns see 3-6" overnight as the band comes back south to put totals at 8-14". Not a bad little event.
Buffalo Bumble
Buffalo and the northtowns see 3-6" overnight as the band comes back south to put totals at 8-14". Not a bad little event. About 6 inches new here. Couple periods of very intense snow rates within a 3-4 hour period of moderate snow. Interesting band to follow on radar. Produced really well despite what appeared to be some nasty shear. These events really are fascinating to follow from model forecasts through the actual event. BuffaloWeather
It looks good for couple hours for the metro north yes? Yeah you can see the boundary near Toronto that will shift the band south. So at least a few hours in Metro. It's actually snowing here already as well. cny rider
I have to say that outside of the lake effect areas I see this winter turning out to be a giant bust for snowfall. We're in a great hemispheric pattern but can't buy a synoptic storm. I'm still in single digits for the season.
