This couldn't possibly verify, could it?  The majority of SC to get 10"+?  Plus a large swath of 15"+?.  Plus the mountains?  There was a flood along the Pacolet River in 1903 when 7-10" of rain fell and the Pacolet river rose 20 feet and whiped out everything in its path and killed 60 something people.

Similar to the Flood of 1916, number wise, for some WNC communities. Frances and Ivan produced less than some of the models are suggesting and they devastated the area.

Negative, read the Sports illustrated article. "Best active NFL quarterback" it will spell it all out for you. Rogers is good but he is no Tom Brady.

you honestly think the best active quarterback is a guy who is almost 40 years old ? If Rodgers played on the same teams Brady has played on he would have 6 super bowl rings at least. Rodgers is the best qb to ever play football and no statistic you show me can change my mind.

Just stating what the rest of the NFL world knows. Not interested in changing your mind. Please continue to think that way as he repeats this year.

Very sad about the school shooting in Oregon. Why is it that almost every school shooting is by a male ? I never hear of females shooting up schools. If we had less males and more females this world would be a much safer place.

Men and women are just wired different. Mental illness plus constant exposure to violent images with technology today and easy access to guns is not a good thing.

Let's see if someone can help me here, I'm supposed to be heading out to Arkansas from Carrboro tomorrow morning, but I'm worried about hitting flooding in the mountains. Should I leave now? It's only 8:30, but I've been up since 6:30AM and working all day.. If I leave now I'll have to drive 13 hours straight as I don't have enough for a hotel room. If I leave tomorrow like 4AM I should be able to make it straight through...if the rain doesn't stop me. What should I do?? Seems like things might escalate quickly.

I imagine it would depend on how flood-prone I-40 is. But I don't know the answer to that question.
