Brick Tamland
We should enjoy the sun while we can, this theoretically should be very wet from Nov-Feb for us. Although we will see...it would be funny if it was a cold/dry winter.
LithiaWx
It's probably better to be west of Atlanta then east. With a lot of these SE storm it's really a crap shoot for where your located. You might end up with 6" of snow whereas Marietta gets 3". The big one of 1993 is an example. My new location racked up even more then mariettas 10". LithiaWx
Welcome to West Georgia ! We can share in each other's misery this winter while Marietta and Dallas and points north get lots of snow Thank you sir! It's only 30-40 minutes away from Marietta but I have a feeling it may end up screwing me in NW flow events. They don't ever drop much but still..... Solak
Has anyone else been following #nwas15 on Twitter this week? A conference like that would be fun to attend, even though I'm not in the field. There's been some interesting things discussed all week long. Brick Tamland
Looks like the state fair is going to be rain free. Headed out there Sunday. Also having a fall festival at the church Saturday afternoon. Weather looks great. Just hope any rain we get next week clears out before trick-or-treating Halloween night and for the race at Martinsville on Nov 1. Taking my son to his first race. Brick Tamland
I don't mind the rain we had yesterday and today. I just don't want rain Halloween and this Sunday for the race at Martinsville. Taking my son for his first race.
Snowless in Carrollton
It really annoys me when a meteorologist who should know the climatology in their area says something completely untrue. For example, the person who wrote the forecast discussion this afternoon for FFC says temps in the long term running near to slightly below average. Yet my forecast low temps are 10-15 above average and forecast highs several degrees above average.

Enjoy your extra hour of sleep, but miss the extra hour of sun in the evening! That will really make it feel like winter! Well, except for 70-80 degree weather for the first half of November , atleast!
