WeatherGod
It would be ironic if the Euro flips the script and shows an East Coast landfall this run.
David-LI
It's been posted 1000 times that the resolution of the GFS isn't capable of properly initializing the pressure. It's really annoying to see the same thing posted over and over again. Then its output is wrong.

Joe4alb
very difficult to determine if its truly on a due westerly track or if it just a wobble, WV loop indicates there is still a slight southerly component to its movement. VERY pretty looking storm if nothing else!

IntenseBlizzard2014
This area has not had a cold/snowy winter following a landfalling hurricane in the summer/fall in quite a long time. Its likely just coincidence more than anything but 54-55, 61-62, 85-86, 91-92, 11-12, and 12-13 were all pretty inactive winters and all followed landfalling hurricanes in the summer or fall. 1944-45 though is an exception. So let's be glad that Joaquin has no interest for the East Coast.
