bluewave Posted October 3, 2015 Share Posted October 3, 2015 This afternoon may be the highest tide of this event around the area. The tides are currently a bit over 2 feer above normal. This would translate to high end minor to near the low end moderate especially for some of the back bay areas like Freeport. Smell of woodstoves burning and a sharp breeze in the air. Pretty cold for early October when average highs are still in the low 70s. Heating kicked on for the first time this season last night. Getting to my favorite time of year weather wise, with late tropical threats combining with east coast troughs, and the outside chance of an early snow. Hopefully the pattern is very active.
