MegaMike
The high got up to 85. Not a great start for me considering the winds were low as well . 83/62/16 Rebound day!
WxBlue
83/62/18/0 I thought about going 19-22 knots, but backed out yet again. Considering national consensus is only 14 knots, I'm feeling good about this one. Few models are VERY consistent with bias so I came up 83/62 as result. AppsRunner
6PM climo came it at 20mph (17kts). We'll see if it can manage another knot or two to help me out

H2Otown_WX
83/63/17. Used some of OHWeather's reasoning as far as the slightly cooler high. Didn't go high on winds because of what (I thought) happened with them today.
weatherwiz
In for the first time. 053198 from Western Connecticut State Got the high right for today and was one off the low and one knot off the wind. I went with 84/63/17 for tomorrow I believe.
Mallow
That's good, Mallow won't be eating his hat. With the strongest winds just coming in now, I'm not so sure we won't see a bit more than the 17kts.

Higher is fine by me, if we hit 18 or better I'll beat consensus by a point haha. Think I'll make up decent ground tomorrow on consensus with the winds. WxBlue
25kts yesterday. That even surprised me. That climo report came out at 9z so I'm not sure if they'll give that to D1 or D2...
Mallow
That climo report came out at 9z so I'm not sure if they'll give that to D1 or D2... They'll give it to D1, because that's how it works. Wind is not 06z-06z, it's whatever the climo says. Climo is valid from midnight to midnight local standard time, so 1AM to 1AM PDT in the case of KSDF. That is, the wind for a given day in this city is measured between 08z and 08z. Regardless, it's clear the highest winds came around the 9:48PM PDT obs, which is 05z, so even if that wasn't the case (which it is), the 25kts would still probably stand. weatherwiz
WTF is the closest location for bufkit data? I mean I've looked on the psu bufkit page but there are way too many locations in CA.
AppsRunner
Will the intra-hour max kill my 82F today? Hopefully not. Tomorrow should be a fun day for winds at the very least!
weatherwiz
Will the intra-hour max kill my 82F today? Hopefully not. Tomorrow should be a fun day for winds at the very least! I went with 84F today so I'm hoping for an 83F inbetween obs. I nailed the low though (unless there was something inbetween as well). but yeah I'm working on my forecast for tomorrow and really debating on what I want to do for winds...I keep going back and forth on what I want to go with
OHweather
Went 77/58/30 Didn't have time to forecast so just went with temps I thought would be near consensus and gambled on wind. With the strongest pressure gradient thus far and some CAA I think 30 is doable.
AppsRunner
75/57/29/0. Sandberg occasionally gets above 30kts but it's not very often. There will be a strong pressure gradient and CAA in a favorable position (NNW), so I think 30 has a shot. Either way I'm close enough to consensus on temps that as long as the wind is there, I should make up a point or two.
