Snowless in Carrollton
Nate Johnson: Today’s 3pm dew point of 79° at RDU is the highest since 8/10/2007, per @SERCC. (Record since WWII is 82°.) #AirYouCanWear I wonder if the dp has ever been that high in Raleigh so late in the year?

calculus1
Heavy rain developing over the foothills again. Just started here at the house.
wncsnow
This heavy rain over the foothills is like insult to injury if 6-10 inch amounts are on the way... some places will get 2-3 inches tonight if the storms continue to stay stationary or move super slow as they are now.. downeastnc
Dumping rain here in Greenvile and the radar looks like it could be setting up for a heavy training rain event here the air is just loaded with moisture PWATS are 2.1-2.3 which is pretty insane and should support heavy torrential showers... calculus1
I'm already up to 1.36 inches of rainfall since I last posted. The radar looks almost exactly the same over my house. Stationary storms are insane.

shaggy
Nothing like that here.... that line got it's act together along 95... Just to our East. We had light rain/sprinkles. I'm just east of Farmville and dopplar is showing 4-5 inches over my neck of the woods already in just a couple hours. This is gonna get ugly cause this line isn't moving much at all. Estimates already approaching 6 inches here i'm just waiting for it to stop so I can go check the rain gauge and add it to my 4.25 from earlier. Solak
Dang, Shaggy! And the 'rain' hasn't even gotten started yet!! This is going to end up being far wore than most are expecting. Yes, Cold Rain....this has backfilled quite nicely from an observation point of view. I thought we were done for a while when the initial line went through earlier.
