packbacker
At this point, I'd go with the Doppler! 18z GFS has lost its mind, going bonkers over the triangle.
Solak
At this point, I'd go with the Doppler! #Winner. Said that earlier in one of these posts. Time to stop model watching and just see what happens.

calm_days
These past few weeks with TUTT lows occurring over the southeast do make me think that some unusual late autumn or winter patterns are possible, if nothing else because I am not sure how the idiosyncracies in the pattern will suddenly change back to a normal pattern. There was the snowfall last late October. Suppose that a late season TUTT low forms with very cold air in mid November!
metalicwx366
0.02 here today. Our big SE rain here will come from the "tropial cyclone" next week if the models don't change.

NRVwxfan.
Not sure CAE is going to make it, hope someone is building an ark... Current radar looks almost like this. Someone just south of me reported 4.5 inches of rain as of 4:29 yesterday afternoon. Per NWS KCAE.
Disc
That storm must be tapping into the limited shear (~30kts) and around 1000 j/kg CAPE that's hugging the coastline and in the vicinity of Charleston. It should weaken as it pushes inland into a more stable environment.
NRVwxfan.
Per Jim Cantore. Getting reports now of major damage west of Charleston, SC. Prayers to all this evening. Another storm southwest of this bears watching.
