My favorite tree, the white oak is just starting. I like when most of the softer woods are done and the white oak are deep purple and gold. Lots of big maples along there. It's my favorite part of Suitland lol. Color is looking good in my neighborhood also. The beech trees are starting to go off. snowfan Posted October 26, 2015 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Yesterday morning's overcast/dreary conditions were perfect for foliage viewing. At least in the areas I've visited, color seems better than last year. Maples are coming along strong and a lot of Oaks that usually go green to brown are actually producing decent color.
