stormwarn
0.88" here in Wood Ridge NJ. Can't complain as I had my doubts we would even receive that much. Hopefully the late Sat. early Sun. event will add to that.

We lived in a basement apartment when I was very young in Long Beach. Heavy rains from Agnes in 1972 flooded us out of our place for a week and caused plenty of damage. But once the water temps are up an we have some training convection comming off the ocean look out!!

winterwx21
6z GFS showing .5 to 1.5 inches region wide by Monday I don't think we're gonna get much rain at all from this. You can see one batch going well to our northwest, and another going well to our south. Which is pretty much what 12z RGEM is showing. Always go with RGEM. It's so much better than the other models. We're gonna see very little rain today.

IsentropicLift
Radar looks super juicy for LI. Yes,that slug should get most of Suffolk County. Appears to be moving a bit E NE so Western sections might not get as much as further East. Either way, the entire area appears to be filling in now.
