LongBeachSurfFreak
The batch off the jersey shore is serious, seriously missing everyone. Sorry to everyone that didn't score. jm1220
Looks like the area from Point Lookout/Jones Beach to Massapequa got slammed today. I didn't hear about much flooding around Long Beach this time so it must have just missed east of them. Glad to see Long Island finally getting some heavy rain-everything was parched and brown when I was home in early August.

IntenseBlizzard2014
The rainfall here at Mount Vernon, NY was intense. All I remember was that half of the street in front of my house was a small river for at least 40 minutes early this morning.

BxEngine
The mods inexplicably seem to think we should go elsewhere to find out rather than discuss it here You wanted a model pbp of rain showers 3 days away, during a period of time with no models even running. If no one is here discussing a model, go look for yourself. This is a weather forum, no one is keeping secrets, and they certainly dont need prompting to discuss easily accessible model runs. winterwarlock
Courtesy of Plfdwxdude...and the NWS Not so sure the accuracy of this since my reporting station and the radar storm total has far less than the 1.5-2.5 inches reported in my county

Ill tone it down, sometimes it doesnt come off right on forums). but if you need to continue, youre more than welcome to PM me, ive derailed the thread enough.
