Rtd208
Every year around this time I like to get things started for the upcoming fall and winter season with the "Predict the Date" of the first bonafide nor'easter of the season be it rain and or snow. I think this year we may start things off a bit earlier then usual and with El Nino hopefully bringing an active STJ up along the east coast I think it will be an active nor'easter season heading into the fall and winter months. Post your dates here.

Redmorninglight
Looks like a good call, Ralph. Beaches have been taking a beating all week as the NE winds have been blowing since Sunday. This storm has bad timing as we will have the perigee full moon tides. At least i can get some surfing in.

Just a quick comment, the fishing boats were in port all of last week, that is how bad it was.

wederwarrior
Hurricane = nor'easter? Am I alone here (might be) to say that the nor'easter search continues? If so then kudos to iceman...

JTA66
Hmm? Can we get a ruling? Rob? Ray? We had plenty of rain and NE winds BUT ... was there a low? It seems the "storm" was more a result of the pressure gradient between the high to the north and Joaquin. Tough call!
