That's a pretty solid cloud deck today. Kind of hard to imagine any strong/severe storms bubbling up, except possibly in the coastal areas that are clear this morning.

We just had one go thru with 30 to 40 mph winds and intense rain but no lightning. It moved thru very quickly.

I just don't see this happening tonight, based on the empty radar ...

Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7pm, then scattered showers and thunderstorms between 7pm and 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

I opened a window and found a wasp nest (active) in there.  SCARY!

Anyway, besides really sunny areas (hot earlier at parts of the yard), the weather here is amazing.. been running the attic fan (big ole timey one) all day and can absolutely feel each degree the temp drops as it gets later in the day.  Such an amazing feeling!  Want summer gone now!
