Brian6969 sharp cutoff in rainfall is failing right now

I'm right on it, having trouble getting here  that is for sure...light but steady rain, but we're talking about .05 an hour type stuff

BDR which is about 5 miles from me has picked up .13 since last night.  Models show an enhancement of the precip tonight, but we'll see.   Race against time before that big high presses dry air south.

Over a half inch here and pouring! Good week of rain for the metro area

NYC and south was always in the game for a good soaking, it was north of there where I was concerned and so far it's playing out that way.  can't even get the ground below the tree canopies wet yet...lol

Heat causes many deaths and hospitalizations.

You are contradicting yourself.

and snow causes people to have heart attacks shoveling

and cold causes frost bite

and rain causes flooding and people to drown in their cars

and sun causes skin cancer

and partly cloudy is boring and causes people to need anti depressants

Cold causes more deaths than heat in America annually.  We went over this a few years ago. Heat certainly causes its fair share, but cold is still the Number 1 weather related killer annually in this nation.

Agree. That's not the point I was making.
