When did we see this last? Will any of the outlying areas crack 40? I think that some areas of the Catskills might, and maybe the very far areas and valleys in Northwest NJ. That fits with some of the ensemble guidance and persistence of the recent pattern. It will be interesting to see how things turn out. IMO, NYC is has not yet had its last 80° day.
