AvantHiatus
El Niño Septembers are usually very wet It is bizarre for sure. Hints of a zonal gradient pattern setting up in mid September tho. That usually would deliver precip for the Northeast.

bluewave
Pretty impressive warm departures showing up in the forecast for the first week to possibly 10 days of September. It looks like this will be the warmest part of the month as the models move to flatten the big ridge out during the second week of September. UnionWeatherWx
Wow. The GFS is really putting its' foot down on the pattern change around the 11th. Summer can go away in a blink of an eye. I saw some high 70's (daytime highs) for that time period on 18z GFS of yesterday.
IntenseBlizzard2014
Has the Euro have signs of showing it?It's showing similar signals around the 9th. It's at the beginning stages by then. Big cold front sweeping through Southern Canada and The Northern Great Lakes by then.
IntenseBlizzard2014
The 18Z GFS continues to show the big pattern change, but slightly earlier and a little stronger. Now at the 10th.
