beavis1729
INL dropped to 23 this morning, tying the record set in 1907. Fall comes early up there. Looks like the growing season was only 119 days in INL this year (low of 30 on 6/1, low of 28 on 9/28).
hawkeye_wx
Cold front came through around midnight and finally ended our long stretch of warmth. I picked up 0.66" of rain, which was nice after eleven days of dry weather and another 7+ dry days ahead. I'm looking forward to the more typical temps. michsnowfreak
I just love the change of seasons. The colors are changing so quickly, I dont know if the peak will end up being much if any later than normal. We had so many Fall-like days in the summer, when the trees were deep green, and so many summer-like days in September as the trees began to change colors....that now we FINALLY have it right. Crisp, Fall air is here and the color show is unfolding. Hoping for a dry, sunny October. Like some of those deep overcast days thrown it too. Currently 29 here. some pretty chilly lows in the interior. 22 over in Baraga county. temp.png A lot of 20s for lows! Probably was quite a bit of ice on the birdbaths where that 22° low was. Not that cold last night really. Only 51° with a wind off the lake all night. Temperature spread of only 5° so far.
daddylonglegs
Geos- I had frost on my house roof and the windshield on my car had some ice... Looks like lots of east wind the next few days so you guys near the lake should be spared.

stormtrackertf
Fairbanks reported 11.2 inches of snow fell yesterday. Must be nice lol. That's a pretty heavy snowfall in one storm for them, isn't it? Their snowstorm climo is very similar to Detroit and Chicago from what I recall.
