Ginx snewx
A number of trees are down on Greenhaven and Mary Hall roads in Pawcatuck. Fire Chief Kevin Burns is reporting that utility poles are also snapped and several primary power lines are down. Volunteer firefighters are using an all-terrain vehicle to gain access to areas of damage by trees. Hoxsie Road in Richmond is blocked by a large tree down. Calls for rescue crews to the Burlingame Camping area came in at about 6:50 a.m., with reports of multiple injuries. Police and firefighters were on their way but downed trees were blocking the route in many areas making it difficult for emergency personnel to get to the scene. Trees across roads are hampering efforts of fire and ambulance crews to respond to reports of damage and injuries.
