Charlestown site right near Burlngame camp ground mass casualty incident

This is why I have no issue dropping a warning in the middle of moose country (not saying southern RI is THAT remote, but you get the idea). It only takes one tree down in a campground to really turn an event into something  ugly.

my very worst storms in SRI were always with this setup in the early AM, uncanny

PVD with a M67 at this time of day? It would probably have been a top 5 (top 3?) severe thunderstorm event for me in Barrington if I was still living there.

What an impressive line of storms. Lots of people outside of weather circles likely caught off guard. BOX was downplaying things on the 4:56 AM disco. METS in here are top notch.

Not sure why it was downplayed on that. Pretty bad.

HRRR is basically a no-go for afternoon storms outside of extreme eastern SNE. Advects drier air in really fast.

Not sure how this afternoon will play out but I'm not expecting a whole lot in most areas down here. The 6z NAM has trended toward the GFS.

That pic with the tree uprooted and the whole lawn attached is crazy.
