weatherCCB
.03" last night. Really dry here last month or so. 77/73 atmosphere is loaded with moisture. Hope the front can give everyone a good soaking.
ChocolateDinosaur
Woke up to 2.1" in my gauge. There were two good 15 minute stretches last night of very heavy torrential rain. Frogs everywhere this morning on the early dog walk. Neighbor left their sunroof open, they're gonna have a bad morning.
Eskimo Joe
Hopefully the 2" is realized, we need a deep soaking. In the past week we've had about 20 field / brush fire calls at my fire department. That's more typical for late September than August.
CAPE
Not really weather related but is anyone seeing any stink bugs? I haven't seen one in months. They seemed to disappear after early spring here. I was getting them in the house quite a bit from late March through early May. Have not seen any since. EastCoast NPZ
Getting ready to watch another line of storms pass just W and N of me. Today is off to a good start.
RIC_WX
Finally, 1.03" overnight and looking for more. Not sure if this is enough to wake the grass from summer dormancy however.
mattie g
0.14" overnight. Places just to the west look to have fared much better. A decent soaking today wouldn't go unappreciated. I don't need a smashing, but .75" or so would be welcome. 1" even more so!

Mrs.J
Woke up to 0.42 since midnight. While I do not want heavy downpours a bit more rain would be nice.

WinterWxLuvr
They seemed to disappear after early spring here. I was getting them in the house quite a bit from late March through early May. Have not seen any since. For me, that's a bit different from past years. In the past, I would also see the decrease, but would still see some. Also, as we moved toward September, their numbers would increase rapidly. I literally have not seen one in months.

dailylurker
what forecasters really meant this week was that it was going to be quite comfortable outside in most places with only widely scattered sprinkles/showers.Yeah, looks like our forecasted heavy rain missed us to the north and north east. Radar looks pretty lame south of the MD/PA line.
