MillvilleWx Posted August 4, 2015 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Got to see some amazing lightning tonight. Unfortunately there was a fatal accident east bound 70 near Hancock. Been sitting here for 2 hours near the front, but it looks like it could be another hour. The fatalities were a truck driver and a son and mother in the car. Easily the most intense nocturnal storm in many years, even our community FB page is lit up this morning...mostly with superficial reports due to wind. Looks like Friday might be a washout, with the NAM showing 1-1.5" of rain with temps 61-65F in the afternoon. The GFS is a miss south, and bone dry. The GEM, however, is actually wetter than the NAM and showing widespread 2-4" amounts on Friday.
