The weather this weekend here is so stagnant. Except for 10-15 minutes of sun yesterday morning it has been cloudy with sprinkles from time to time. Now it is misting at 70°.

At Canadian Guy: Would be interesting if that 977mb low was further south!

Geos, this is much better than what the southern Mississippi Valley is getting now. You couldn't pay me enough to live there this time of year. This weekend has been very murky, but pretty pleasant.

Yeah I'd rather have this then their weather. It is still pretty Zzzzz, like Alek would say.

Got about 30 minutes of filtered sun this afternoon and some drizzle. High of 77°.

Interesting observation by Evan Bentley at IWX concerning next week:

BOTH THE GFS AND ECMWF STRENGTHEN THE FLOW ACROSS THE CENTRAL UNITED
STATES BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. HAVE MODERATE TO HIGH CONFIDENCE
OF THIS OCCURRING GIVEN THE TENDENCY FOR STRENGTHENING...AMPLIFIED
FLOW ACROSS THE CONUS 10-14 DAYS AFTER WESTERN PACIFIC TYPHOONS
(SOUDELOR) ARE INGESTED INTO MID-LATITUDE FLOW. IT IS TOO FAR OUT TO
KNOW HOW THIS MAY IMPACT OUR LOCAL WEATHER...BUT WILL KEEP AN EYE ON
HOW THIS EVOLVES.

Nice day today.  Looks like a very benign stretch of weather coming up.  Tis the season.

Time lapse from last night's milky way outing.

That's spectacular! I have never seen the Milky Way like that. I hope to though when I go camping on the new moon next month in the Cascades.

East wind today, hot west wind tomorrow.

6. 30 - 6/20-7/19/1921

Also if we can make it past next week, one of the latest streaks into the end of summer/late August
