BuffaloWeather
It is sunny and 80° here with a light breeze. A+ day. What did your Hamburg celeb do to draw so much attention? Yeah, only 71 here now with clouds, but starting to clear up. Oh, Patrick Kane...He lives 5 minutes away from me, yeah I think he might be in some trouble. Geos
Today has just been gloomy cloudy and unnecessarily humid. High of 74°. Wish it would just rain and get it over with!
hawkeye_wx
There was a nice rain event over here overnight. I picked up a solid 1.07". A band of 3-4+ inches fell from Ames to south of Iowa City. The usual dry IA/WI/IL tri-state region missed out yet again.

Geos
The weather this weekend here is so stagnant. Except for 10-15 minutes of sun yesterday morning it has been cloudy with sprinkles from time to time. Now it is misting at 70°. At Canadian Guy: Would be interesting if that 977mb low was further south!
wisconsinwx
Geos, this is much better than what the southern Mississippi Valley is getting now. You couldn't pay me enough to live there this time of year. This weekend has been very murky, but pretty pleasant.

cyclone77
Finished with 0.61" of rain from the storms. Wasn't expecting anything, so it was a nice bonus. Saw quite a few meteors tonight up at the lake. Here's a shot of the Milky Way over the northern leg of the lake. This was at Leisure Lake, which is just southwest of Dubuque. IWXwx
Interesting observation by Evan Bentley at IWX concerning next week: BOTH THE GFS AND ECMWF STRENGTHEN THE FLOW ACROSS THE CENTRAL UNITEDSTATES BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. HAVE MODERATE TO HIGH CONFIDENCEOF THIS OCCURRING GIVEN THE TENDENCY FOR STRENGTHENING...AMPLIFIEDFLOW ACROSS THE CONUS 10-14 DAYS AFTER WESTERN PACIFIC TYPHOONS(SOUDELOR) ARE INGESTED INTO MID-LATITUDE FLOW. IT IS TOO FAR OUT TOKNOW HOW THIS MAY IMPACT OUR LOCAL WEATHER...BUT WILL KEEP AN EYE ONHOW THIS EVOLVES.
