Don't find coastal norrsters in August like gfs had I'll take another COC weekend for the race and visitors. GFS is still giving us a pretty wet week in advance of that though. Also--for any and all runners, Saturday's the day. http://www.shelburnefalls.com/index.php/10k-road-race/race-information

But all day soakings with highs in the 50's? Call me skeptical

Damage In Tolland
Looks like we warm it back up early next week to 80's . Just a 2-3 day mild down. Sneaky 90+ today at BDL/CON/BOS
CoastalWx
Doesn't look very summery in terms of heat to me. Might be another low south of us early next week, although obviously not chilly this time of year.

CT Rain
Not too optimistic about next week. Will be on the Cape 8/8-8/15 and it definitely isn't an awesome look - though I'm sure most days will be fine.

tamarack
We can do it with +10C with a NE flow dead ratter. August 6-8, 2008 at my place: 61/55...0.83" 57/53...0.48" 58/54...1.12" However, -25 maxima in met summer are all but impossible. The local long-record (120+ yr) coop may have eked out one such reading with the 46F max on 6/9/56, but that might be all. Record low max for July is 54 (5th) and August, 52 (31st.)
