CoastalWx
what beach? Green Harbor beach in Marshfield. On a side note, that beach was heavily damaged in the January blizzard. Mother Nature did a nice job rebuilding it. The scars to sea walls and houses remain.

HoarfrostHubb
Man what a beach day. Not too hot in terms of lower humidity and a good breeze, but plenty warm enough to go swimming. Water was good too.We were in Hull last weekend (aunt and uncles amazing house where they got buried in Feb)Water was amazing

powderfreak
Here's a new one.... Beijing chosen to host the winter Olympics. The first city to ever host both the summer and winter Olympics. Apparently snow, ice, winter, cold, etc is not required to host the winter Olympics. __________________________________ Early this morning, Beijing, China was chosen over the city of Alamaty, Kazahkstan as the host of the 2022 Winter Olympics, becoming the first city to have been chosen to host both summer and winter Games. The announcement was made in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this morning. The two emerging economies were competing in the final selection for the bid after European cities Oslo, Munich, and Stockholm withdrew their bids following public disapproval for plans to host the outrageously expensive games. 2014's Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, cost over $50 billion, and many developed democracies have growned about the prospect of fronting such enormous expenditures. Just a few days ago, Boston withdrew its bid for the 2024 Summer Olympics Games for just that reason.

Typhoon Tip
RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper He starred in the hugely underrated Sci-Fi dystopian movie, "They Live" Anyone that enjoys those themes in cinema would agree that the movie had merit - despite whatever typical main-stream panning by critics that may or may not have taken place ... He was diagnosed with Lymphoma back in 2006, but it doesn't look like that's what got him. They just say cardiac arrest -- well, that's dumb kinda. Everyone that days ultimately has their heart stop beating, so wtf is that supposed to mean. Anywho, yeah...iconic dude from the 1980s

That place can have terrible vis in the winter as arctic air banks up against the mtns to the south. Both places have terrible air quality.
