SACRUS
A nice sunrise ahead of a day on which the daily record high temperature could be challenged and perhaps broken: Don - stunning pictures. IsentropicLift
GFS and GGEM now showing potential for 3-5" of rain at the end of the week. The Euro is more of a 1-3" deal. Looks convective. Moving forward the GGEM is showing an insane amount of rain for the area with over 10" over the next ten days.

Yesterday's popup was very nice. Storms rarely pop over Brooklyn. I was watching it pop. In real life, instead of on radar.

Not sure I believe the whole end of the week drenching rain just yet.
IsentropicLift
Hmm, interesting but sounds familiar. Not sure I believe the whole end of the week drenching rain just yet. It looks convective in nature with storms on a stalled frontal boundary. As much as I would love for this to verify, sadly I know it wont.

Wow, imagine that. My question is though, with these stalled fronts, don't the models have trouble actually forecasting the position of the front? That position is constanty subject to change, no? I don't care about Thursday, but Friday I have a lot of stuff to do.
