We interrupt this broadcast and Summer returns 8/15. thru 8/13 NYC: +1.7 EWR: +0.9 LGA: +0.8 JFK: +2.6 TTN: +0.2 PHL: +1.3 I'm at -0.3 for August thus far due to the many radiational cooling nights in these dry airmasses. The tally's at 5 nights sub 60 degrees this month. Mean maxium of 84.9F and mean minimum of 62.1F, so the departure is wholly brought down by the nights. The mean maximum is higher than my July's mean maxium of 84.5F. Next couple nights still look comfortable due to the dry airmass. I'm hoping to finally score an official heat wave IMBY for the Sun-Tues period.
